US Consul-General visits Sri City
The Consul General in Hyderabad, Katherine Hadda accompanied by John Fleming, Commercial Consul for South India and Consulate team from Hyderabad visited Sri City on Tuesday.
Tirupati: The Consul General in Hyderabad, Katherine Hadda accompanied by John Fleming, Commercial Consul for South India and Consulate team from Hyderabad visited Sri City on Tuesday.

Sri City Founder and Managing Director (MD) Ravindra Sannareddy welcomed the US Consul General and her team and briefed her on the infrastructure, unique features and the brisk pace of development in Sri City. Ravindra informed that more than ten US companies, including the major brands like PepsiCo, Cadburys, Colgate Palmolive and Kellogg's have set up their production units here.
The Sri City MD informed Katherine Hadda that India has been ranked best destination for investment by all global agencies and several companies are looking for investment opportunities in diverse sectors. “As Consul General herself witnessed how American companies are thriving here,
I am confident, her visit would pave way for some more US companies to invest in AP, particularly in Sri City,” he added.Thanking the Sri City management for arranging the visit, Katherine Hadda wished to visit Sri City again. “I am glad to see a number of US companies setting up units here,” she stated.
During the interaction, Katherine Hadda evinced keen interest and enquired on different aspects of Sri City. Later, the Consul General visited the units of PepsiCo and Kellogg's. She had a glimpse of the production facilities and witnessed the works in progress. The Consul General had a meeting with the senior representatives of the companies.
