Use CC cameras to control crime: IG
Rayalaseema Inspector General of Police, N Sreedhar Rao ordered the officials to integrate the Closed Circuit Cameras (CC Cameras) with fiber grid with which the crime ratio could be brought under control. On Thursday, he paid a visit to Kurnool Two Town Police Station and inspected the records.

On Thursday, he paid a visit to Kurnool Two Town Police Station and inspected the records.
During his visit, he inspected the records pertaining to various cases filed at the station. He also inspected the Closed Circuit Cameras room situated on the first floor of the station. Later he suggested streamlining the traffic woes by a continuous monitoring. Wherever there is a problem in monitoring with CC Cameras he said that it can be overcome by extending information to Rakshak Control.
He further suggested setting up of more CC Cameras at the colonies where the situations are sensitive and have regular checkup of the cameras installed at banks. He ordered the officials to dispose the seized vehicles following the court orders.
