Ongole: The YSR Congress Party leaders in Prakasam district staged protests with the demand of ‘Save democracy’. They demanded the resignations of the turncoat MLAs in the ruling party now
YSRCP official spokesperson Bathula Brahmananda Reddy, Ongole president Kuppam Prasad, youth wing president for district Ganta Ramanaidu and other leaders performed ‘Palabhishekam’ to the statue of BR Ambedkar here and staged a protest in front of the statue.
Brahmananda Reddy said, “The TDP government is ruining the values of politics. Those MLAs, who won on YSRCP ticket, but joined the TDP Cabinet, along with the others, should resign first and contest again. The Governor should take action against the government for its anti-democratic activity and reinstate respect towards Constitution in everyone.”
