A two-day state-level Kabaddi Clinic began at Vikas College of Physical Education (BPED) at Vikas Educational Institutions in Nunna near Vijayawada on Saturday. The two-day clinic is being organised in association with the Krishna District Kabaddi Association and Andhra Kabaddi Association.
Vijayawada: A two-day state-level Kabaddi Clinic began at Vikas College of Physical Education (BPED) at Vikas Educational Institutions in Nunna near Vijayawada on Saturday. The two-day clinic is being organised in association with the Krishna District Kabaddi Association and Andhra Kabaddi Association.
In all, 223 kabaddi players are participating in the clinic. Vikas Educational Institutions chairman Naredla Narsi Reddy inaugurated the clinic and said that the clinic would be useful for players and referees to know the changes in rules and regulations.
Krishna District Kabaddi Association secretary Y Srikanth praised the Vikas Educational Institutions support to kabaddi players by providing free food and accommodation, he added.Vikas BPED College principal Dr S Raju said that on Sunday referee test would be conducted.
Those who qualify in the test can conduct kabbadi matches in the state and national level.
Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) officer on special duty (OSD) P Rama Krishna will be the chief guest for valedictory function, he said.Vikas Educational Institutions secretary and correspondent N Satyanarayana Reddy and others were present.
