2-day hunger strike by YSRCP : Aqua Park issue
The Western delta in West Godavari has witnessed severe agitations against the setting up of the Godavari Aqua Mega Food Park in Tundurru over the last few days. The Agitations are going on to pressurise the government to shift the Aqua Food Park from Tundurru to seashore area to save the people’s lives.

In the latest movement, the YSRCP has started its agitation to cash the peoples’ aspirations. The YSRCP leader and former MLA Mudunuru Prasada Raju started a two-day hunger strike in Narsapuram on Friday. People from various villages including Tundurru, Kamsali Bethapudi, Jonnala Garuvu, the main victims of the Food Park participated in the agitation.
Mudunuru Prasada Raju, former MLA announced his hunger strike on Thursday started the strike in Narsapuram this afternoon. He recovered from an injury which he sustained at his residence prior to his programme. The CPM leaders, Anti Food Park agitators also participated in the agitation extending solidarity to the hunger strike.
The YSRCP district President and MLC Alla Kali Krishna Srinivas (Nani) reached the hunger strike camp in Narsapur. He inaugurated the camp.Speaking on the occasion, MLC Nani alleged that the government is oppressing the people in Tundurru who are on warpath peacefully against the construction of Mega Food Park in their village.
