Benefits should reach targeted: Sunitha
Minister for Women and Child Welfare Paritala Sunitha called upon officials to make efforts to ensure that the benefits of schemes reach the targeted sections. Addressing a meeting of officials related to her ministry at DWMA Conference Hall here on Friday, Sunitha said that the schemes should be propagated well to the targeted beneficiaries including through flexis and posters in all the interior

Addressing a meeting of officials related to her ministry at DWMA Conference Hall here on Friday, Sunitha said that the schemes should be propagated well to the targeted beneficiaries including through flexis and posters in all the interior villages of the district.
Minister calls for reduction in mother and infant mortality and prevention of child marriages
She exhorted officials to place the district on top in the state in the implementation of the schemes effectively. The hapless and the under-privileged sections should benefit from them, she added. Sunitha said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu entrusted her with Civil Supplies Ministry in the past and her performance was appreciated there. She said she would also deliver goods in the new job too.
She called for redoubled efforts to minimising mother and infant mortality rate and preventing child marriages. The Minister enquired about the implementation of the Chandranna Bima Pathakam and also on settlement of claims. DRDA Project Director Venkateswarlu, Woman and Child Welfare Project Director Zubeda Begum and Senior Citizens department Additional Director Ravindra Reddy were among those present.
