Vijayawada: The Krishna District Private Engineering College Management Association announced that Mega Job Fair will be conducted on April 10 at Executive Club, Vijayawada, to provide campus placement to engineering students.The association leaders said the engineering college managements are taking measures to impart communication skills and building confidence among the engineering students to get placements.

Gadde Rajling, president of the Andhra Pradesh Private Engineering College Managements Association, and Muthavarapu Srinivas, president of the Krishna District Private Engineering College Management Associations, addressed a media conference here on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, Gadde Rajling said poor communication skills, lack of confidence, body language, fear factor were the main reasons for not securing placements. He said core companies like Infosys, Polaris, Mphasis, Takata, Concentrix Technologies, Experis, Indo Shell Mould Limited, Tata Business Support Services Limited, Pratian Technologies and 15 more companies will take part in the Mega Job Fair-2017 to be held at Executive Club on April 10.

He said necessary arrangements were made for the event and no fee would be collected from the candidates for attending the interviews. He suggested that each student should try to attend only two interviews on that day to get selected for the job.

He said if there is need the Job Fair will be extended to April 11, he added. Gadde Rajling said engineering students studying in the colleges in the capital region comprising Krishna and Guntur districts would get a big boost as the college managements are taking measures to impart communication skills as well as boost self confidence with guidance, counselling and motivation. “No engineering student should be left without job in the capital region,” Rajling said.

He said there are bright prospects for the engineering students who studied civil, electrical, electronics and other courses in the CRDA region. He said there is a plenty of scope for setting up of industries in the CRDA region in the coming years and all the engineering students in the capital region would get placements.
