He inaugurated the Chief Minister’s Urban Health Centre in Titus Nagar in 29th Division here on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said that the state government has introduced various changes in government hospitals to protect the health of the poor people. During the last three years, it has spent 5,700 Crores on poor people’s health protection.

The chief minister has inaugurated the CM’s Urban Health Centres through video conference all over the state. He also inaugurated the Arogya Raksha scheme, he added. He said that the urban health centre services will be strengthened and linked up with Apollo Health Service for better medical services.

About 222 CM Health centres have been inaugurated all over the state and out of it 17 centres are in West Godavari, Pithani added. The minister said that Heart, Endocrinology, Orthopedic, General Medical wings patients will get the special services, he added. He said that besides these, 27 clinical tests are also extended free of cost in the Urban Health Centres.

Eluru MLA Badeti Kota Ramarao said that the CM Urban Centres have been inaugurated on the day of World Health Day and these centres will have an Air Conditioned waiting hall, Expert doctors, Tele consultation, Staff Nurse, Lab Technicians, two ANMs and assistants will work round the clock 365 days in the centres.

The In-charge Collector Pulipati Koteswara Rao said that the CM urban health centres will work as a joint venture. On the occasion of World Health Day, the Minister, MLAs officials released wallpaper on the psychological stress published by medical and health, family welfare departments.
