Tahsildar held for alienating govt land

A tahsildar was arrested by police in connection with creating passbooks for alienating the government land at Samadhanampeta village in Gurajala mandal, said CI Rayana Dharmendrababu.While producing him before the media here on Friday, he said that following the orders from the RDO, they registered cases against eight persons, including two tahsildars.
Gurajala (Guntur): A tahsildar was arrested by police in connection with creating passbooks for alienating the government land at Samadhanampeta village in Gurajala mandal, said CI Rayana Dharmendrababu.While producing him before the media here on Friday, he said that following the orders from the RDO, they registered cases against eight persons, including two tahsildars.
V Raghu Ram and T Praveen (who earlier worked here)—and one village revenue officer in March. In the inquiry it was found that they allotted 51.68 acres of government land to private people and the Collector suspended the accused,
CI added.
Tahsildar Raghuram was out on the anticipatory bail. “We will arrest the remaining accused persons soon,” said the CI.
