He made a whirl wind tour at the wards in the city on Sunday. During his visit at the wards in the morning on Sunday he noticed the same kind of poor sanitation in the localities as was seen two days ago.

He made rounds from 6 am to 8 am at Gowli Geri, Kothapeta, Narasinga Rao Peta, State Bank of India (SBI) Circle, Gypson Colony and other localities and inspected the sanitation works.He said despite his warning two days ago the sanitation workers are showing negligence.

If it continues further then the concerned staff would be sacked without any reason thereof. He ordered the Municipal Commissioner, Ravindra Babu to take up besides painting, the repairing works of the dust bins which have developed holes.He expressed dissatisfaction on seeing the canals blocked with waste and garbage disrupting the free flow of drainage water.

He ordered the Commissioner to visit the wards from 6 am to 9 am to monitor the works of the sanitation staff. He also questioned the health officer Kalyan Chakravarthy why he has failed to ensure proper sanitation at Narasinga Rao Peta. In view of people’s health the Municipal officers and staff have to maintain good sanitation at the wards. Municipal Commissioner, Ravindra Babu, Health Officer Kalyan Chakaravarthy and other municipal staff were present during collector’s tour at the wards.
