Andhra University Registrar Prof V Umamaheswara Rao, who attended the valedictory of national seminar on Saturday, highlighted the importance of ‘Electron spin resonance spectometre’ (ESR) in the field of biological, physical, chemical, pharmaceutical, engineering and earth sciences.

The programme was sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi, in which 86 participants from Rayalaseema University, GITAM University, B R Ambedkar University, Srikakulam, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur, Government Degree College, Bhadrachalam, Kothagudem,

various departments of Andhra University and its affiliated colleges, ANITS and Gayatri College, Dr V S Krishna Government Degree College, Y N College, Narsapur and Dr L B College participated. The registrar informed that the one day national workshop has provided good technical knowledge to the delegates and the personnel of Advanced Analytical Laboratory on the electron spin resonance spectrometer. Demonstration was given by Jeol India Private Ltd and it provided an opportunity for researchers, scientists, academicians and representatives from industries to share the ideas and for new collaborations.
