Arrangements for CM visit underway
District collector Kantilal Dande directed the officials to make necessary arrangements for the foundation stone laying function for the construction of B.R. Ambedkar statue on April 14 and Ambedkar Smruthi Vanam between Inavolu and Sakhamur in Guntur district on the occasion of 125th birth anniversary of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar.
Guntur: District collector Kantilal Dande directed the officials to make necessary arrangements for the foundation stone laying function for the construction of B.R. Ambedkar statue on April 14 and Ambedkar Smruthi Vanam between Inavolu and Sakhamur in Guntur district on the occasion of 125th birth anniversary of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar.
He conducted a review meeting with the officials in Guntur city on Monday.Speaking on this occasion, he said about 20,000 people are expected to take part in the programme. He instructed the officials to provide drinking water facility, and make arrangements for CM's public meeting at Velagapudi.
He directed the officials to provide sitting arrangements at the public meeting to be held at Velgapudi and take up repairs to the roads leading to Inavolu. He instructed the officials to provide parking places and set up temporary toilets for the convenience of the people. Guntur rural S.P.Narayan Naik visited the place where CM will set the foundation for the construction of B.R. Ambedkar Statue between Inavolu and Sakhamur in Guntur district. He said that the CM will address a public meeting near Assembly building at Velagapudi. He directed the officials to make necessary arrangements. Joint director Social Welfare Mallikarjuna Rao, was also present.
