Auto Workers Union bus stand area committee 16thannual meeting was held at Press Club in Gandhinagar in Vijayawada on Tuesday. Traffic ACP D Sravan Kumar attended the meeting as chief guest. He said there are allegations that the auto drivers are creating panic and problems to the citizens, he added.

He said the auto drivers should co-operate to the traffic police and avoid accidents. Everyone should get aware about their health and take precautionary measures to avoid illness in the summer, he suggested. Auto driver’s association honorary president Donepudi Kasinadh said that the state government would withdraw the G O 894 in favor of transport sector. With this GO auto drivers facing several financial problems, he added.Later, the meeting elected Raja Venkateswara Rao and V Chinna Rao as president and secretary of the Association respectively.
