Andhra Pradesh Customs Commissioner Sk Rehaman said that a proposal was sent to the Union Government seeking arrangement of Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) in capital city of Andhra Pradesh. Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Customs Commissioner Sk Rehaman said that a proposal was sent to the Union Government seeking arrangement of Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) in capital city of Andhra Pradesh. He said the scheme would be useful to provide medical facilities to Central Government employees and pensioners.


Inaugurating a medical camp at Customs State office here on Tuesday, Rehaman said that Union Health Ministry was urged to arrange wellness centres and identify some hospitals under Central Government Health Scheme to extend medical services to employees. He also suggested to employees not to neglect health even as job pressures and use medical camps arranged by Customs department. He also said several employees were working under pressure during their daily duties.

Dr Mohmed Sadik (Cardiologist) and Dr Sai Sandeep (Neurologist) of Ramesh Cardiac Centre attended the medical camp and conduct tests to the employees. Deputy Commissioner N Naresh, Superintendent G Seetharamaiah Chowdary others participated.
