Vijayawada: Vijayawada urban Tahsildar R Siva Rao said that the Head Masters and the students of all the schools should avail the services of revenue department which are providing caste and income certificates to the students as part of the revised policy on distribution of certificates to students.

Siva Rao distributed about 220 caste and income certificates to the students of Bishop Azaraiah high school on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion he said that as a special programme the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu asked the revenue department to handover caste and income certificates to the students at their schools to obtain scholarship.

He further said that the principals and the headmasters of the schools should take interest in collecting all the details of the students at the beginning of the academic year. He reminded that earlier the students had to wait for long time at the Mee Seva centres and revenue department offices to obtain the caste and income certificates but now the students would get these certificates in the schools in four days by furnishing all the details he added.
