Tirupati: All roads led to Tumburu Teertham since the early hours of Monday as tens of thousands of devotees made it to the famous Teertham located in the deep woods of Seshachalam ranges at Tirumala. The hectic day for the pilgrims started in the wee hours and the TTD has made elaborate arrangements to provide Annaprasadam and water to the multitude of visiting pilgrims.

Each devotee was served with a bag containing two pulihora packets, one curd rice packet, butter milk and four water sachets which were distributed at the mouth of Papavinasanam dam en route to Tumburu Teertham. Srivari Seva volunteers were deployed from 5 on Monday morning till Tuesday to serve food and water to pilgrims.

While the Radio and Broadcasting Department has made announcements at regular intervals about the care to be taken while trekking the tedious path. On the other hand, the TTD vigilance along with police and forest departments made elaborate security arrangements. Assistant catering officer Achutaprahu supervised the Annaprasadam arrangements. The devotees expressed immense satisfaction over the arrangements of food and water by TTD.
