Cabinet Minister for Information Technology, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development in Andhra Pradesh, Nara Lokesh on Tuesday gave an assurance of providing One lakh new IT jobs for the youth in the state within a couple of years.
Speaking at an event, Nara Lokesh further said that Five lakh jobs would also be created in the manufacturing sectors, electronics etc.
The Cabinet Minister said that in the coming years, more manufacturing units will be established in the Rayalaseema region with places like Amaravati, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati setting up several IT centres.
