Special trains for summer vacation
In order to clear extra rush during the summer vacation, the railways extended train services. Chennai Central –Santragachi-Chennai Central weekly special train will leave Chennai Central on Wednesday from April 12 to April 28 at 3.15 pm and reach Visakhapatnam on the Thursday at 5.10 am and depart at 05.30 and arrives Santragachhi on Thursday at 6.20 pm.
Visakhapatnam: In order to clear extra rush during the summer vacation, the railways extended train services. Chennai Central –Santragachi-Chennai Central weekly special train will leave Chennai Central on Wednesday from April 12 to April 28 at 3.15 pm and reach Visakhapatnam on the Thursday at 5.10 am and depart at 05.30 and arrives Santragachhi on Thursday at 6.20 pm.
In return direction, the train will leave Santragachhi on Thursday from April 14 to June 29 at 11.50 pm and reach Visakhapatnam on the Friday at 2.15 pm and depart at 2.45 pm and reach Chennai Central on Friday at 5.30 am.
The train halts at Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Anakapalle, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore stations and Kharagpur between Chennai Central-Santragachi. Suvidha special train from Kochuveli to Guwahati will be operated by the East Coast Railways on May 7, 14, 21 and 28.
