A Class IX student committed suicide on Tuesday over not able to score 10/10 grade points in the annual examinations.

Identified as Dhamulluri Vinay, hailing from Bitragunta village jumped in front of a train in Kavali town of Andhra Pradesh's Nellore district after learning he didn't score full marks.
His body was found on the railway tracks and was sent for post-mortem. The RPF police have filed a case of unnatural death.
Vinay's family members informed that, he had always been a bright student and claimed that his school management had pressurized him to score 10/10.
A student of Geetanjali English Medium School, Vinay had learnt that he had scored 9.110 grade points in his Class IX results and expressed his unhappiness of not scoring 10 which might have led him to take the extreme step amidst the pressure from the management, grieved his mother.
