Visakhapatnam: Former minister for municipal administration and present Pendurthi MLA Bandaru Satyanarayana Murty, who was upset for not being inducted into the recent state cabinet expansion, skipped all the meetings of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu held in the city and also in Anakapalli on Tuesday.

On the state cabinet expansion day itself, when Bandaru came to know that he was not inducted, he simply gave the slip to his family members and his followers after directing the gunmen and personal assistant to leave his residence. Only after two days, he surfaced and the Anakapalli MP Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao went to his house and pacified the angry leader. Bandaru, a prominent BC leader had been serving the party since the time of NTR and as there was already Ch Ayyanna Patrudu who is also a Minister from BCs from Vizag district, Bandaru was not able to get a berth in the recent expansion.

With his abstaining from the CM’s meetings, it was construed that he had not still recovered from the shock. The Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu attended the marriage of Bandaru’s daughter conducted at Ukkunagaram in February this year as Bandaru invited him personally after going to Amaravati. Earlier, Bandaru used to attend all the meetings of Chief Minister.
