Rajamahendravaram: Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology (GIET) 4th engineering students held a project expo in the campus on Wednesday with their projects which attracted hundreds of their juniors and visitors from outside.
Managing director and executive director of GIET, Sasi Kiran Varma and Lakshmi Varma, while inaugurating the expo, interacted with the young engineers about their projects.

Speaking on this occasion, Sasi Kiran said that they particularly asked first and second year students to see each project and know the way in which it was designed. He said that the projects which were exhibited would give scope for startup companies and also some more innovative projects. The MD recalled that four of their college students were selected for Stanford University and two more for long-term training in Germany.

Ms Lakshmi Varma said GIET Project Expo would be conducted every year to produce the best entrepreneurs and engineers with innovative ideas.CEO of Chaitanya Educational Institutions, of which GIET is a part, D L N Raju, principal D V Rammurthy and others participated in this programme.After the inauguration, students exhibited different models in the expo, including e-bikes, e-cycles and new electrical and electronic devices.
