On the occasion of Dr. Ambedkar's 126th Jayanthi today, the Andhra Pradesh Government has decided to set up a huge statue of Ambedkar at Amaravati.
The 125 feet Ambedkar statue will be set up at Inavolu in Thullur Mandal, in 20 acres of land and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will lay the foundation stone for the same on Friday.
Chandrababu will be addressing a huge public gathering at Velagapudi today on the occasion and also launch an app - 'Connect AP CM'. The public can utilize the app developed by Microsoft company to express their opinions on the functioning of the various ministers in the state.
