He lamented that the film was not released in the historical city of Rajamahendravaram, even after seven days after its release. He addressed the media along with the film unit after watching premiere show of the film.Speaking on the occasion, Harsha Kumar expressed anguish over the plight of small films and mafia like situation is prevailing in the film industry with regard to not allocation of theatres for small films.

“Saranam Gachchami talked about the issue of reservations and it remains a mystery as why it was denied certification by the censor board,” he wondered.He demanded the producers’ council not to show discrimination against small films. He also demanded the government should exempt ‘Saranam Gachchami’ from entertainment tax.

Hero of the film, Naveen Sanjay said that everybody should have the knowledge on the constitution. He mentioned that the film is all about a healthy debate on the reservations.Producer of the film Bommaku Murali and heroine Tanishq Tiwari also spoke.
