YCRCP official spokesperson Jogi Ramesh alleged that TDP national general secretary and IT minister Nara Lokesh influenced the government to roll back GO 44 after assuming the charge as minister. He said that the GO 44 released in 2015 was a big hurdle to realtors and builders as the agriculture land could not be used for commercial purposes. 

Vijayawada: YCRCP official spokesperson Jogi Ramesh alleged that TDP national general secretary and IT minister Nara Lokesh influenced the government to roll back GO 44 after assuming the charge as minister. He said that the GO 44 released in 2015 was a big hurdle to realtors and builders as the agriculture land could not be used for commercial purposes.

“However, Lokesh influenced the government to relax the GO to benefit the realtors and big businessmen as they can now use the lands in Amaravati region for commercial purposes,” he charged.

Addressing a press conference at party office, here on Saturday, the YSRC spokesperson said a large number of farmers had sold their lands in Amaravati region at low prices because the lands could not be used for commercial purposes due to implementation of GO.

He accused that many people loyal to TDP leaders have purchased these lands at low price during the last two years and now can use the lands for commercial purposes due to scrapping of GO
