However, a source close to Nandamuri family scotches these rumours and says: “It will be very positive, encouraging and awe-inspiring film for present-day youth since the basic premise of the plot is the rise the son of farming couple-Nandamuri Lakshmaiah and Venkata Ramamma- to the post of CM with hard work and perseverance.” It further says that it would ‘depict the transformation of a sub-registrar into a T-town superstar and ‘messiah of masses’.
The actor gained pan-India appeal with his mythological roles of Lord Krishna and Rama. “He was only actor to have tasted success in varied genres like mythological, historical, folklore and social dramas and attained superstardom on the strength of his acting brilliance and charisma and ruled the roost for three decades and also dabbled in writing and direction and bagged national and international honours for his eminent work,” the source said.
The magnum opus to be produced by a top banner and helmed by a popular director and right now script work is going on involving five to six writers. “It would end with charismatic actor taking oath as CM,” he said.
