Kurnool: The All India Youth Federation (AIYF) leaders demanded the government to release a white paper stating the vacancies and steps taken to fill the vacant posts during a round table conference held at STU office on Sunday.AIYF State General Secretary, Lenin Babu addressing on the occasion said, the state government has assured a job to each household and a stipend of Rs.2500 to each unemployed.

He demanded the chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu to take steps to fill up the vacancies or else the youth in the state would face a bleak future. He said as many as two lakh jobless youth in the district are waiting for government jobs. Lenin further alleged that the government had done away with several long existing contractual and out sourced jobs in various departments like housing and education.

The BC, SC, ST, Minorities State President, Lakshmi Narasimha demanded the government to make Amaravati as free zone. He also urged the government to establish the factories and locals to be given fifty per cent preference in employment. He said that they would launch a massive youth movement against the government overy soon if the government did not resolve the employment problem by the end of this summer, he added.
