Eluru: Government Whip and Denduluru MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar said the government would take steps to supply power uninterruptedly round-the-clock in villages during the summer season. He laid the foundation stone to construct a 33/11KV Sub-Station at Patha Mupparru village in Pedapadu Mandal, on Sunday. The Sub Station would be constructed to a tune of Rs 1.40 Crore.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said the TDP Government has taken steps to supply power uninterruptedly during the last two-and-half years. Earlier during congress regime, the people suffered a lot due to repeated power failures and Power cut.
He also said the APEDCL is constructing power substations in a big way to see to it that power is supplied continuously.

In Denduluru Constituency, the 33/11 KV substations would be constructed in Jogannapalem, Munduru, Pathamupparru and Kothagudem near Sitampeta village and all the substations would be interlinked. With the interlinking of the substations, as and when power supply breakdown occurred, the officials restore it in minutes. APEDCL Superintending Engineer Ch Satyanarayana Reddy said 23 new sub-stations would be set up in the district and six indoor substations would also be constructed in urban areas.
