Chittoor to be a model city: Mayor K. Hemalatha

Chittoor: Following the instructions of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, effective steps would be mooted to develop Chittoor city as role model one in the state, assured Chittoor Mayor K. Hemalatha. Chittoor MLA D A Satya Prabha and Chittoor MLC B.N. Rajasimhulu have already developed a constructive strategy for beautification of the city with unique designs and are very particular for developing city in a multi –dimensional manner, she added.

Speaking to press persons here on Sunday at her residence, she expressed her views for developing the city as per the ideologies of late Chittoor Mayor K. Anuradha. “Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has given me an opportunity to serve the people with commitment and involvement. Apart from developing the city, strengthening the party would also be the most important task to one and all. Though there is a severe shortage of funds, immediate steps would be taken for mitigating drinking water problem in the city “she added.

She said that she has clear awareness on the issues of the city and it would be very easy to her to drive the municipal administration in a speedy way. She assured that she would treat all the corporators equally by developing all the divisions equally and proportionately. She said that she would visit all the wards every day and find and redress the grievances of the public with good spirit and enthusiasm.
