Will set up dialysis centre at govt hospital: MLC Surya Rao
A dialysis centre is set to be established in Jangareddigudem of West Godavari district, according to MLC and Chairman of Eluru District Government Hospital Development Committee Ramu Surya Rao.On a visit to Eluru government hospital on Sunday, he said proposals were sent to the government for the setting up of dialysis centre.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLC said in recent days the kidney patients’ number was on raise and that only modern medicine could save them. He added, Dialysis centre in Tadepalliugdem and Ashram Hospital centre are working perfectly and are saving numerous lives.
He regretted that the upland people are most suffered due to non-availability of dialysis in their area. They either depend on Eluru centre or Tadepalligudem centre. Following this, it was proposed to set up a dialysis centre in Jangareddygudem.
The Eluru dialysis is extending most of the services in the District and since 2011 covering over 80,000 kidney patients.
