Facilities at Sishu Grihas to be improved : Paritala Sunita
Minister for Women and Child Welfare Paritala Sunita accompanied by the department commissioner K Udayasri visited Sishu Griha located in Marripalem area in the city on Monday. The Sishu Griha houses 13 orphans-five male and eight females.After inspecting the premises she found that the air-conditioner was not functioning and immediately asked the officials to rectify it.

The Sishu Griha houses 13 orphans-five male and eight females.After inspecting the premises she found that the air-conditioner was not functioning and immediately asked the officials to rectify it.
She said she should be informed of such small things immediately so that the problem could be solved at once.Later talking to the reporters, the minister said facilities like drinking water, toilets, and power supply would be streamlined in all Sishu Grihas and Anganwadi centres in the state. She said a team will inspect Anganwadi centres all over the state to ensure quality material was being supplied.
She said she herself would visit the agency areas soon.``After visiting all the 13 districts, we will submit a report to the chief minister,’’ Sunita said. She lauded the officials for taking care of the children at Sishu Griha Local MLA P Vishnu Kumar Raju, Women and Child Welfare project director M Chinmayee Devi and other officials were present.
