New courses launched : PBS college of Arts and Science
To cater the industrial needs and lack of talented work force in the state, PBS college of Arts and Science had launched new courses in the field of e-commerce, bio-technology, statistics and analytic BBA. The PBS College principal Dr. M Ramesh said on Monday that the college was introducing the new courses for the first time in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Vijayawada: To cater the industrial needs and lack of talented work force in the state, PBS college of Arts and Science had launched new courses in the field of e-commerce, bio-technology, statistics and analytic BBA. The PBS College principal Dr. M Ramesh said on Monday that the college was introducing the new courses for the first time in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
He said that all courses are introduced which are designed with the help of experts to cater to the needs of the industries. He said the new courses introduced are B.Com e-Commerce, BBA Analytics, B.Sc (Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science), B.Sc (Botany, Biotechnology and Chemistry).
PBS College dean Dr. Jampa Rajesh said that there is a steep shortage of qualified business analyst jobs and the new course would fetch jobs and will give bright future to the youth. He further said that the present generation was showing more interest towards online courses than the traditional old courses. He said that Bio-tech would be the future to bring changes in field of food manufacturing, Storage and Garment manufacturing are few to say he added. Academic officer Dr. K Bhargavi, Vice-principal P Babu Rao and others were present.
