Kurnool: Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishnamurthy, who also holds Revenue portfolio, said that the state government has effectively curbed registration of dubious Lands.Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, the Deputy Chief Minister said that about 24 lakh acres was kept in land resettlement book in the districts of Anantapur, Krishna and East Godavari.

Out of which 17 lakh acres was shown in the books with just dots without mentioning land owners names, he added. The Minister further said most of the lands in Anantapur, Krishna and East Godavari are in dispute because of those dots against the names of legitimate owners. Former Minister KE Prabhakar, TDP Disciplinary committee member Somisetty Venkateswarlu and other TDP leaders were present.
