Rayalaseema Range Inspector General (IG) of Police N Sridhar Rao directed the police officials to give priority to community policing which will create friendly atmosphere between public and the Police department. He also instructed the police officials to integrate the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras with Fiber Grid for bringing crime rate under control.

Kurnool: Rayalaseema Range Inspector General (IG) of Police N Sridhar Rao directed the police officials to give priority to community policing which will create friendly atmosphere between public and the Police department. He also instructed the police officials to integrate the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras with Fiber Grid for bringing crime rate under control. The IG held a review meeting with officials at District Police Office (DPO) here on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, Sridhar Rao directed police officials to pay special attention for controlling crime.

He suggested streamlining the traffic by monitoring continuously in the city. The IG informed police personnel to set up of more CCTV cameras in the colonies to keep a close watch on anti-social activities. The police official said that a complaint box should be set up at every police station to receive complaints from people. The IG told his staff to make documentary to showcase their achievements to the public. Later, the IG felicitated police officials and staff and gave them rewards for their services. Kurnool Range DIG BV Ramana Kumar, District SP Ake Ravi Krishna, ASP Shaik Sha Vali and others were present.
