81.4% take APEdcet-17 online test across AP

Visakhapatnam: AP Education Common Entrance Test-2017 (APEdcet-2017) was held peacefully across the state on Wednesday.
The test was conducted online by the Andhra University for the first time in Andhra Pradesh from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm in 32 test centres covering 16 cities.
APEdcet-17 convener Prof R Ranganathan said that of the total 8,785 candidates applied for the test, 7,152 candidates attended the test registering 81.4 per cent attendance.
This was the first time that the number of applications received has not even touched one fifth of the total number of seats available in the state.
