Journalist attacked
An electronic media journalist was allegedly attacked on Wednesday by a doctor. According to police, a rift between an electronic media reporter B Suresh and his cameraman K Satyaprasad and Dr Mullapudi Rajendra Prasad triggered as the former were taking visuals of hospital without permission. Dr Prasad allegedly abused the reporter and beat him up and the cameraman was also pushed on the road.

After the incident both reporter and cameraman were shifted to government hospital. A case was registered against Dr Prasad in two-town police station on this regard.Meanwhile, Home minister N Chinna Rajappa, Deputy Chairman of Legislative Council Reddy Subrahmanyam who visited government hospital, assured that action would be taken on the people who are responsible for the incident.
