The rally which took off from Tirupati Gangamma temple culminated in a dharna before Tahsildar office.
Addressing the gathering, YSRCP constituency in-charge Chandramouli said 260 out of 400 habitations are facing drinking water scarcity and fodder shortage. “It has become difficult for farmers to save cattle from dying,” he added. He sought the administration to take steps for transportation of water through tankers on daily basis to all the affected villages. The YSRCP leader stressed on the time bound completion of Handri-Neeva project for resolving drinking water problem on a permanent basis.
