Vijayawada: YSRCP MLA RK Roja held Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu responsible for deaths of 172 farmers and said that he has no right to celebrate his birthday in Anantapur, where 63 mandals were declared as drought-hit.Addressing the media persons at YSRCP office, here on Thursday, she charged the Chief Minister with not creating a single job opportunity to unemployed youth in the state, despite 21 foreign tours in the past three years.
“Only Lokesh got employment as minister,” she mocked.Referring to Nandyal by-polls, “YSRCP will not field any candidate, Bhuma Nagi Reddy family members contest on YSRCP ticket,” she asserted.Roja alleged that the CM created drought conditions in the state with his corrupt and inhuman activities. “Chandrababu Naidu has not fulfilled his election promises including KG to PG free education to girl students.
He distributed cycles to girl students only after Opposition party questioned about the same in the Assembly sessions,” she added.She informed that Jagan would stage a protest in Guntur on April 26 and 27 supporting farmers, who were facing plethora of issues due to fall in prices of all crops. Accusing the state government of supporting only businesses and corporate, “Government should have purchased crop yield directly from farmers,” she felt.
