High hopes on new EG Collector Kartikeya Mishra
Various organisations particularly left parties the CPM and CPI pin high hopes on new collector Kartikeya Mishra in attending to issues and aspirations related to poor and common man in East Godavari.The two party leaders sincerely hoped that though the new collector is from unban back ground he would understand the needs of rural folk.
Kakinada: Various organisations particularly left parties the CPM and CPI pin high hopes on new collector Kartikeya Mishra in attending to issues and aspirations related to poor and common man in East Godavari.The two party leaders sincerely hoped that though the new collector is from unban back ground he would understand the needs of rural folk.
Veteran CPM leader and party state committee member Dadala Subba Rao said it was being heard that the new collector was posted to East Godavari at the behest of Nara Lokesh despite stiff opposition from the two key ministers from the district Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and N Chinarajappa. He felt that the collector should act independently without any inclination to the ruling party on public related issues.
Veteran CPI leader and East Godavari party secretary Tatipaka Madhu observed that there were several issues related to common man that need urgent attention.Social activist and former municipal Corporator of Kakinada Dusaralapudi Ramana Raju observed that the collector should ensure the implementation of High court order in the conduct of civic body polls as there is no elected body in the last seven years. In addition to this, care also should be taken in utilisation of various allocations to civic body, Ramana Raju said.
