Strive for all round development ,officials told :P S Pradyumna

Chittoor: Newly appointed District Collector P S Pradyumna gave a call to district officials to strive for the development for achieving the prescribed goals. He informed officials that it was a unique opportunity to make district number one on all fronts. Pradyumna took charge as District Collector here on Friday. He explained his priorities while addressing a meeting in which district officials took part.

“Funds will not be constraint for taking up developmental works. But, commitment is needed to serve the people,” he added. Later, Pradyumna reviewed the progress of all departments. He instructed the officials to come up with unique strategies to meet people’s needs. He also asked them to explore the possibilities for creating employment opportunities for unemployed as district has abundance of resources. The Collector made it clear to officials that he would be constantly pursuing them until the targets are reached.

Pradyumna also clarified that he was not going to take any deviation with the existing planning and implementation of the schemes. Joint Collector Girisha has explained various issues related to Revenue and Civil Supplies departments. Joint Collector 2 Venkatasubba Reddy, Tirupati Sub Collector Nishant Kumar, Madanapalle Sub Collector K Vetri Selvi, District Revenue Officer Rajia Begum and others were present.
