SP distributes sun glasses to traffic police

Kurnool: Superintendent of Police, Ake Ravi Krishna on Sunday distributed sun glasses, homeo medicines, ORS sachets, glucose pockets and butter milk to his police men who is engaged at various junctions to control traffic woes under the scorching heat.

Later speaking to media men Ravi Krishna said police deployed to control traffic are the worst victims of heat. They are discharging duties by standing for hours on roads and that too without heeding their health conditions. Even at the stage of 43 degree Celsius, while every citizen is relaxing at their houses, the traffic police are the one who have to perform duties under the burning heat, he said.

Appreciating their efforts and to encourage for extending better services, the officer distributed sun glasses and other things to the traffic police. He suggested them to protect from sun strokes by drinking abundance of water at every interval. The traffic police thanked Ravi Krishna for extending them with sun glasses, butter milk and homeo medicines.Sub Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) DV Ramana Murthy, Ramachandra, Circle Inspector Nagaraja Rao, Sis, ASIs and constables were present.
