Noted Comedian Tanikella Bharani and a Seer Sri Paramahamsa Parivrajakacharya Govindananda Saraswathi Swami from Karnataka visited Guru Deva Charitable Trust and Sri Guru Deva Vikalang Sahayatha Kendram in Kottavalasa mandal here on Sunday to attend the artificial limb camp there.

Visakhapatnam: Noted Comedian Tanikella Bharani and a Seer Sri Paramahamsa Parivrajakacharya Govindananda Saraswathi Swami from Karnataka visited Guru Deva Charitable Trust and Sri Guru Deva Vikalang Sahayatha Kendram in Kottavalasa mandal here on Sunday to attend the artificial limb camp there.

Guru Deva Charitable Trust has been doing service of providing artificial limbs to the differently abled for years with its own funds and at times, some PSUs were also encouraging the social cause as a part of its CSR activity. The Seer who participated in the camp in which over 300 persons attended, lauded the self-less service of the Trust Founder Raparti Jagadeesh Babu adding that such type of persons are very rare in the society.

Providing artificial limbs to as many as 25,000 persons so far is not an ordinary issue, the Seer added. Later, Govindananda Saraswathi Swami interacted with the participants and gave blessings.Comedian Tanikella Bharani also praised the social service of Trust Founder and presented artificial limbs to some of the differently abled. Among others, Sankara Narayana, Modu Rajeswara Rao, Gopalakrishna and Yamijala Subrahmanya Sarma were also present.
