TTD to ready dollars for Akshaya Tritiya
Keeping in view the sentiments of the pilgrims to purchase gold or silver on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya, the sale counters in Tirumala and Tirupati should keep enough stock of gold, silver and copper dollars, said TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

The weekly review meeting was held in the chambers of TTD EO at the administrative building in Tirupati on Monday. Reviewing on various subjects, the EO instructed the concerned to see that there is no dearth of dollars on April 29, following Akshaya Tritiya. Later the EO instructed the engineering wing to complete the works at Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple as per schedule. He also instructed the engineering wing to find out a proper place to keep the Ratham at Tiruchanoor after procession.
"The marketing department should keep adequate stocks of jaggery, ghee, sugar etc. as this is the peak season", he observed.Tirupati JEO P Bhaskar, All Projects Special Officer N Muktheswara Rao, DLO Venkataramana, CE Chandrasekhar Reddy and Additional FACAO Balaji were also present.
