Chandrababu in favour of PM Modi's single poll strategy

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday addressed the "One Nation, One Election" strategy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Stating that he and Telugu Desam Party are in favour of the same, Chandrababu said that he welcomes simultaneous elections as with the polls being held every three or six months in the country, the parties and the government is ending up only working for the elections instead of the public.

The Chief Minister said that the state and central government will be able to work together towards the development of the country if the elections are held simultaneously in the country.

However, he did say that few problems might arise due to it but they can be resolved with the synchronization of the governments.
