Income Tax officials Raids conducted on Hotel Bliss

The Income Tax (IT) officials conducted raids on Hotel Bliss here on Wednesday. The hostel belongs to Mabbu Suryanarayana Reddy. The IT Commissioner M Jagadeesh Babu, Joint Commissioner PV Subbaraju and Assistant Commissioner P Srinivasulu along with 20 staff members participated in the raids, which began at midnight on Tuesday.

The IT Commissioner M Jagadeesh Babu, Joint Commissioner PV Subbaraju and Assistant Commissioner P Srinivasulu along with 20 staff members participated in the raids, which began at midnight on Tuesday.
The management is constructing another hotel at an estimated cost of Rs 57 crore. Raids were conducted on both hotels. The IT officials have verified the documents and accounts of the hotel and found some discrepancies. They seized cash, crucial documents and hard disks, sources said.
