LED bulbs replacement commences
The replacement of damaged LED bulbs, which were earlier supplied by the Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) in the district, began at the designated centres from Wednesday, said superintending engineer (Operations of Visakha Circle T V Surya Prakash. He said the consumers should follow rules while replacing their damaged bulbs, including production of remittance of latest electricity bill,
Visakhapatnam: The replacement of damaged LED bulbs, which were earlier supplied by the Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) in the district, began at the designated centres from Wednesday, said superintending engineer (Operations of Visakha Circle T V Surya Prakash. He said the consumers should follow rules while replacing their damaged bulbs, including production of remittance of latest electricity bill, along with Aadhaar card.
The superintending engineer said that the LED bulbs should have been supplied by the EESL earlier, bulbs with manufacturing defects will only be accepted and broken bulbs will not be accepted while the replacement is purely free of cost. The designated centres are for Visakha West at the sub-division office, Gopalapatnam, Vizag North at sub-division office, Seetammadhara call centre and for Bhimili, Anakapalli, Yelamanchili, Chodavaram, Payakaraopet, Narsipatnam, Paderu, Pendurti and Gajuwaka.
