She went to all 12 houses and spoke to the family members. She came to know that the son of Saraswathamma has refused to complete the rituals for his mother unless the cheque of Rs 10 lakh is given to him. Hence, her husband had to complete the formalities.

She warned her son Munirathnam severely for such behaviour. Rajakumari assured them the children of the victims’ families will be provided free education at NTR Model School after they complete the primary education in the village. She also visited Yerpedu police station and enquired the police officials about the accident. In BIRRD Hospital, she enquired about the health condition of the injured. As no financial assistance was announced till now for the injured, Nannapaneni said that she will take up the matter with the Chief Minister. TDP district health wing president Dr R Sudharani has accompanied Rajakumari.
