Make Nandi Theatre Awards fete a grand success, officials told
East Godavari district collector Kartikeya Misra instructed officers of various departments to make elaborate arrangements for conducting the Nandi Theatre Awards and the Kandukuri Visista Puraskaram function to be held here on April 30.
Rajamahendravaram: East Godavari district collector Kartikeya Misra instructed officers of various departments to make elaborate arrangements for conducting the Nandi Theatre Awards and the Kandukuri Visista Puraskaram function to be held here on April 30.
Reviewing the arrangements for these programme at the sub-collector’s office on Thursday, the collector said that the state government had decided to organise the state-level function at the birth place of Kandukuri Veeresalingam Panthulu. He instructed all the departments to extend warm hospitality to all the participants, including artistes.
Rajamahendravaram MP Maganti Murali Mohan said Kandukuri Rangastala Pursarkaram, consists of Rs 1 lakh cash award and citation, would be given to three eminent theatre personalities in the state. Assembly Speaker Dr Kodela Siva Prasada Rao and district ministers are expected to attend the function.
