Tirupati: Municipal Corporation of Tirupati (MCT) Commissioner Dr K Madhavi Latha has directed the officials to send every file through e-office only. Departmental action will be initiated, who fail to send the files through e-office, she warned. The commissioner also instructed officials to resolve all complaints which were received on every Monday during ‘Dial your Commissioner’ and through 103 WhatsApp on the same day.

She made surprise visit in municipal wards on Friday and found the garbage in the drains at RC Road. The officials concerned were asked to clean garbage immediately. She directed the municipal health officer to keep roads clean. Madhavi Latha expressed her displeasure over garbage lying on the roads at MR Palle, Timminaidu Palem, Rajiv Nagar and some other places.

The commissioner also visited Sundaraiah Nagar, Saptagiri Nagar, Bhavani Nagar and Devendra Theatre Road along with engineers and enquired the residents about the drinking water supply. She also inspected the chlorine content in drinking water.
