In a review meeting held here on Friday, Dinesh Kumar said the state government had introduced new system under National Electronic System in the new financial year with regard to the payment of employment guarantee wages. The delay in payments was the result of non-activation of old postal accounts and late arrival of funds from the government, he added.

He directed the concerned officials to make payments properly at all levels by setting up call centers at ITDA office. He made it clear that pending payments should be made in 10 days through a special drive mode. He expressed furious at mandal coordinators working in mandals under AP Online for not extending support to NRGEGS, postal department and warned of stern action if failed to cooperate in the payment of wages in future.  He directed the officials to open postal accounts for the workers and instructed the postal authorities to play crucial role in payment of wages by overcoming technical problems.
