Rift over benefit show
Tension prevailed as fans of Prabhas approached DSP to prepone the screening of the benefit show of the much awaited Baahubali-2 from 3 am on Friday to 9 pm on Thursday.According to DSP L Ankaiah and RDO G Ganesh Kumar, the government gave permission to start benefit show from early hours of Friday and the same was conveyed to theater owners but fans of prabhas approached the officials to get perm
Amalapuram: Tension prevailed as fans of Prabhas approached DSP to prepone the screening of the benefit show of the much awaited Baahubali-2 from 3 am on Friday to 9 pm on Thursday.According to DSP L Ankaiah and RDO G Ganesh Kumar, the government gave permission to start benefit show from early hours of Friday and the same was conveyed to theater owners but fans of prabhas approached the officials to get permission to start benefit show from 9 pm.
As the officials were against such demands, fans of Prabhas tried to barge into VPC Multiplex theaters where police in large number thwarted their move. As the rumor that the movie is going to screened on Thursday spread, fans of other heroes like Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan have staged stir and tried to reach theatres where police obstructed them.
Around 3 am on Friday some unidentified persons came in large numbers and destroyed cars parked in front of Multiplex Theater and also hurled petrol bombs on the theater which created large scale tension. A case was booked on the both associations in this incident.
